We have taken new measures to ensure patient and staff safety from Covid-19 at Duggan Dental Practice
Patient safety measures include:
- Use of extra PPE (personal protection equipment) by staff for dental treatments
- NEW Aerosol Removal Equipment for the surgeries
- Strict cross infection control protocol and of course, ensuring each treatment room is carefully cleaned and disinfected after each patient
Before you leave for your appointment, please:
- Pack your own sunglasses (instead of using our protective eyewear) and pen
- Use the lavatory at home
- Bring as few personal belongings and coats with you
To ensure social distancing, please:
- Remember to attend on your own if possible
- Use the intercom to contact the reception when you are outside the door
- We will call you when it is time to enter the practice
- We will take your temperature and ask you to use hand sanitiser gel on arrival
- We will have a glass screen at reception
- We will go through some extra hygiene measures with you and direct you to one of the surgeries or the waiting room which we also disinfect regularly.

Duggan Dental Practice has installed the latest Extraoral Dental Suction System which removes the Droplets and Aerosols effectively, highly reducing the infection risk, and keeping the air clean in the surgery.
